Flat shaded terrain shock wave in Unreal Engine 4

This material/shader was made as part of the Global Game Jam 2017 project, it was made to create shockwaves emitting from the player whenever he strikes the ground with his hammer.

The effect is controlled using a 'Material Parameter Collection' this was necessary allow spawning the waves from the player's position using blueprint. The Material has 4 parameters: centre position, height, width and distance. the last value being used to animate the wave

In the video you can see me demoing the effect using mouse clicks to emit the shockwaves.
